wedding stationery - invitation

Floral Wedding Wreath Save The Date cards are the perfect way of adding a personal touch to your invitations.

Do you have a floral theme in mind? Or if you haven’t got that far yet, perhaps a favourite flower? Or even just a favourite colour?

Wreaths have a long history, and have symbolism synonymous with family heritage. Two combined can represent a union of two families, much like a coat of arms.

Lila and Sam essentially have created their own personal coat of arms. The pink rose was Lilas favourite flower and her first choice for wedding theme. Although Sam was non fussed about which flower to pick we decided upon the yellow daisy as it reflects his bright sunny disposition.

The inserts include details of the day on a5 and an RSVP on a6. The paper stock is textured to really highlight the handmade watercolour quality.

As you can see the floral decor is continued throughout the pages – this doesn’t have to stop here, if you require further printing this can be carried out onto anything for your wedding such as menus and table numbers.

They not only give a first impression as to the colour scheme and style of your wedding but also reflect the time of year. Any season works fantastic. Below shows a spring wedding, the couple in fact decided upon this time of year partly for their love of tulips.

Danielle and Gavin went for a Autumnal wedding, so a vast array of orange and golden yellow were applied.

For those of you who want to add another dimension to declaring your wedding date to your friends and family, these cards make for a wonderful surpise to come through the post. They provide a light hearted and whimsical way to send your message out.

These cards in particular were created especially with the couples favourite animals in mind.

The first one was made based on the brides personal obsession with fluffy kitties, and are loosely based on 2 of her cats called Geoffrey and Gertrude.

They are inspired by children’s books and my personal fondness of wildlife and fluffy creatures.

Although these are a few favourite creatures I’m open minded and can create any scenario, creature or character if you have one in mind.

The card itself is 350gsm satin finish on eggshell. I’ve found that this is the ideal way to highlight the gentle wash, delicate linework whilst
also being sturdy and robust enough to have a good longevity maintaining the the die cut shape stuck tight.

The 3D shape is die cut from coloured card chosen especially with the wedding days colour scheme in mind. It is thin card (300gsm) which is perfect to fan out yet also compresses enough to fit through a letterbox, in fact When flat the card is only 5mm in thickness!

As a standard package these card designs come with inner details 148 x 210mm which includes an RSVP slip at the bottom.

These cards are perfect for keepsakes who would like there wedding day remembered!

Art deco wedding stationery

Art Deco themed Stationery has seen a huge revival lately and no wonder! The Roaring twenties was a time of breaking conventions and stepping out for; jazz, glitz, glamour not to mention decadence. Its strong geometric shapes have and will stand the test of time for long to come. This style is bold and daring yet also very classy and romantic.

Here is an example of a beautiful mid winter 1920’s themed wedding stationery set. The logo and borders were all tailored especially to requirements and were the perfect embellishment to the periodic fairy tale day. This particular bride had a strong vision of how she wanted her special day to look. Her theme colours were black, white and silver, so silver foil was a natural choice for this design. It works especially well on dark matt finished card. The custom made logo, border and text were ideal for this foiling effect and gives an extraordinary, unique yet classical finish. The details of the day were on smooth white paper in stark contrast to the main invitation with a thick custom made border to finish it off. All were contained in a small folder with a silver belly band to keep everything in place.
